Summer School 2019

The Summer School was successfully organized during the 2nd week of July 2019 as a result of the cooperation between the Steel Structures Institutes of NTUA and BTU Cottbus. It took place in Germany and was the 2nd Summer School. The first was organized in Athens during summer 2018.  From NTUA participated 25 students from all semesters and also Faculty, Special Lab and Teaching Staff and Researchers, members of the NTUA Institute of Steel Structures. The program included courses, visits to University Laboratories, techniques site visits and a visit to Berlin. The co-operation of the two Institutes is a three year project, funded by the German academic exchange organization DAAD. Includes Summer Schools,
research work on reinforcing steel structures with composite materials by conducting experimental tests and analyzes. It also enables the exchange of Greek and German students for the preparation of their Doctoral Thesis.
